GlobalTechnologies Internet Services was established in 2006 in order to offer a complete package of high-transfer server hosting, DDOS Filtering and Managed Services in affordable prices. Our staff members have an average of 8 years of work experience in the hosting industry and our goal is to provide quality service at the lowest possible price to our customers.

While most other companies are afraid of allowing services like IRC on their network due the possibility being a targeted by DDOS attacks, we encourage IRC usage as it’s just another service and restricting it does not resolve any kind of problems but temporary hides and postpones them as DDOS is a serious threat that may occur on every internet service nowadays. We are very proud for having developed our own filtering mechanism allowing us to reduce any costs of very expensive branded filtering systems that other companies may use. Our filtering system gets improved day by day and mitigates DDOS attacks, preventing them from affecting customers’ servers, using multiple methods.

However, DDOS filtering (even using custom-made filtering mechanism) requires high-end hardware equipment increasing every hosting's business costs and while other companies may try to make profit from every single service to cover that cost, we never did and we will never do. We were the first ones who provided DDOS filtered IPs at such a low price, forcing the whole market to become realistic and avoid requesting thousands of dollars from their customers for something that should remain low cost (if not free). We were the first ones in DDOS mitigation industry who offered low-cost and one-time fee hardware upgrades (Memory / Storage) with absolutely no profit on our side because we target on long-term customers and we're not trying to make profits from upgrades in order to cover DDOS filtering costs. We were the first ones who provided all Web hosting Control-Panels licenses and Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Standard licenses free of charge.

We are still the only ones that provide dedicated servers ready for use including all software package that a WEB or IRC business needs. Our concentration in IRC businesses, not only all includes custom O/S installation with optimized configuration and software packages installed by default, but even private access to a shared domain list for virtual-host creation and installation of our own developed scripts that help server administrators to manage their servers easier. We were also the first ones providing ReverseDNS Delegation and instant IP re-assignment through RWHOIS protocol (and we actively use it, not having it outdated / inaccessible) to our customers, bringing them closer with organizations and IRC networks for any contacts required.

Our goal to provide both quality and affordable services to our customers has also prevented us from having high profits, fancy web-site and expensive advertises but instead using mostly the word of mouth from our satisfied customers which have made us grow fast, more than any previous expectation.

The reason of all the above is that before joining GlobalTechnologies Internet Services, all our staff members have years of experience administrating servers of very similar businesses like the ones our customers manage nowadays. That gives us the opportunity to know from first hand our customers' needs, understanding their worries and concerns while our internal slogan between staff members always was: "deal customer's server like it was yours".

Finally, our datacenter's geographical location in Chicago Illinois USA, the heart of the Information Technology industry and our long and successful co operations have allowed us to have much more IP transit than any other similar-sized hosting company. While our ability to provide all our services and instantly add additional links through AboveNet, AT&T, Cogent Communications, Fibernet, Level(3), QWest, Verizon/MCI, XO/Nextlink, WV Fiber, Yipes makes us absolutely unique in the market.
